The EUROBAK Human Resources (HR) Committee unites HR managers and executives from EUROBAK member-companies.


The EUROBAK HR Committee members meet to discuss up-to-date issues, best practices and global trends in Human Resources Management. The Committee also invites guest speakers who update the members on new services and products in the human resources field.


Another important activity of the HR Committee is participation in discussing and reviewing labour-related legislative acts (e.g. the draft Labour Code of Kazakhstan) through meetings and written communication with government officials.


The EUROBAK Human Resources (HR) Committee is one of the most dynamic committees within EUROBAK, who meet up 3-4 times a month.

The EUROBAK Tax Committee provides members the possibility to exchange information regarding tax issues and problems they face doing business in Kazakhstan. The Committee addresses the most critical issues faced by the EUROBAK members in the sphere of taxation and works to communicate its concerns / ideas / observations to the relevant authorities and seeks resolution of the issues raised.


The Tax Committee defined their work priorities for 2018-2021 as follows:


Keeping EUROBAK member-companies updated to changes in current tax legislation and the practical development of its implementation; Monitoring situations and applying to the responsible authorities concerning problems faced by EUROBAK member-companies; Facilitating discussions regarding problematic tax matters and the development of problem solving strategies; Proposing and initiating improvements to tax legislation.

The Digital Committee actively discusses and develops innovative approaches based on the latest technologies, including big data that can be used to make effective decisions, cybersecurity that provides protection against cyber-attacks and data breaches, the Internet of Things that enables management and monitoring of devices and systems from anywhere in the world, and data-driven governance that enables governments to make informed decisions based on data and international experience.

The committee explores the intricacies of big data, the vast and complex field of internet of things, and other information technology issues. Hospitality is the widest represented industry in EUROBAK. The key stakeholders include hotels, travel agencies, tour operators, restaurants, airlines and other service providers.


Travel, Hospitality and MICE (THM) Committee was established in 2017.


In the forthcoming period the Committee aims to:


  • Extend the existing visa free regime, expand it to a 15 day visa free entry and introduce a simplified e-visa procedure following the most successful examples in our region and beyond;

  • Collaborate with Government agencies for an aligned communication strategy as opposed to the current divided and develop a communication line that strikes the attention of the target markets;

  • Promote Kazakhstan’s attractions and develop a communication line promoting Kazakhstan as a tourist friendly country;

  • Emphasize the value MICE tourism can deliver, convince for development and incentives to be expanded to this lucrative part of tourism and allocate financial resources available from the Government;

  • Development of infrastructure, especially at key attractions that lack basic facilities;

  • Provision of focused education by the Government to the service providers and members of the hospitality industry.

The main goal of the project is to increase the level of practical knowledge and skills in personnel management of graduates of higher educational institutions. Within the framework of the HR project, the heads of large international and Kazakhstani companies will conduct a series of practical classes with students of the 3rd-4th year of Almaty universities. During the classes, the emphasis will be directed directly to the practical application of HR tools and techniques.


The start of the project is scheduled for September 25, 2023 (applications for participation in the project will be accepted from September 1 to September 15, 14:00). Classes will be held every Monday from 19.00 to 20.30.

The main goal of the project is to increase the level of practical knowledge and skills in these areas of graduates of higher educational institutions. Within the framework of the project, the heads of Marketing and PR departments of large international and Kazakhstani companies will conduct a series of practical classes with students of the 3rd-4th year of Almaty universities. During the classes, the emphasis will be directed directly to the practical part: real cases, tasks, interactive games, recommendations, best practices from the international and Kazakhstani markets.


The project is scheduled to start on September 27, 2023 (applications for participation in the project will be accepted until September 15, 14.00).


Classes will be held every Wednesday from 19.00 to 20.30.


Criteria for the selection of project participants:


  • 3-4 year and Master's students who are interested in career development in the field of Marketing & PR;

  • Knowledge of English at least Intermediate level;

  • The first 80 applications for each of the projects will be approved for participation.

  • Participation in projects is absolutely free for students.


After the end of the project, students who attended at least 9 lectures and successfully passed the final test will be issued certificates of completion of the course "University of Practical Knowledge in Marketing and PR EUROBAK".


Information about students who have demonstrated excellent results will be sent to HR specialists of companies that are part of EUROBAK. The most active and talented students will have the opportunity to complete an internship (with the possibility of further employment) in international partner companies of the project.
