Victor Kovalenko and Aibek Tulepbergenov, EY experts representing the Climate change and Sustainability Department, proposed several measures necessary to adapt business to upcoming changes in the field of carbon regulation. The state encourages enterprises, companies, and citizens of the country to reduce GHG emissions by improving the carbon market, as well as introducing carbon tax and encourage innovation. These measures will not only help to reduce climate impact but will also create new economic opportunities by promoting the development of efficient industries, technologies, and green infrastructure.
