Exciting news from the Y12 robotics team!
Ruihan has expressed her desire to create her own robotics project and we’re thrilled to support her vision. We’ve decided to build a robot with speech recognition that will serve as a valuable assistant in our robotics lab and the library.
Our goal is to implement a recommender system, similar to the one used in Danial’s app, to help students select books based on their interests. By asking relevant questions, the robot will be able to recommend books to students that they’ll love.
We’re also excited to use this project to encourage more girls to get involved in tech projects like this. We believe that diversity in the field is important and we hope to inspire other girls to explore their interests in robotics and engineering. Stay tuned for updates on our progress!
Ruihan выразила желание создать собственный проект по робототехнике, и мы очень рады поддержать ее в этом начинании. Мы решили создать распознающего речь робота, который станет ценным помощником в нашей лаборатории робототехники и в библиотеке.
Наша цель — внедрить рекомендательную систему, аналогичную той, что используется в приложении Даниал. Она сможет помочь учащимся выбирать книги на основе их интересов.
Задавая соответствующие вопросы, робот сможет рекомендовать ученикам книги, которые им понравятся.
При помощи данного проекта нам хотелось бы побудить больше девушек участвовать в подобных технических проектах. Мы считаем, что в этой области важно разнообразие, и надеемся
вдохновить других девушек на развитие своих интересов в области робототехники и инженерии.

Meet Danial, a talented Y12 student who has developed an incredible application for our school library! With a built-in recommender system, this app helps students choose the perfect books based on their interests and preferences. Danial has been working tirelessly on this project since the start of the school year, and we’re blown away by his dedication and hard work.

Это – Даниал, одаренный ученик 12 класса, который разработал невероятное приложение для нашей школьной библиотеки! Благодаря встроенной рекомендательной системе это приложение помогает учащимся выбирать книги на основе их интересов и предпочтений. Даниал неустанно работает над этим проектом с начала учебного года, поражая нас своей самоотверженностью и трудолюбием.
Это приложение не только очень полезно для наших учеников, оно также показывает, какими креативными и инновационными могут быть наши ученики. Мы гордимся тем, что в нашей школе учатся такие ребята, как Даниал – увлеченные технологиями и оказывающие положительное влияние на свое сообщество.
