Engagement with the Ministry of Health on medicine pricing, VAT inclusion and deregulation.
Submission of an industry White Paper assessing regulatory and market impact.
Ongoing dialogue on registration certificates, pricing mechanisms and anti-counterfeit measures.
Trade, FMCG & Customs
Advocacy on international road transport permits, resulting in extended flexibility until 2027.
Business dialogue on the proposed expansion of powers of the Digital Silk Road Company (DSRC); the initiative was not pursued.
Addressed regulatory challenges related to online marketplaces, counterfeit goods and customs procedures.
Digitalisation & AI
Initiated cooperation following the President’s strategic focus on AI and digital transformation.
Promoted international expertise and best practices in responsible AI deployment.
Tax & Regulation
Active engagement on the New Tax Code, focusing on investment attractiveness and predictability.
Work within the EEC on technical regulation, conformity assessment and GTIN/NTIN requirements.
International Engagement
Regular interaction with the EU Delegation, EU Member States and participation in the EU–Kazakhstan Business Platform.
