EY Kazakhstan, together with the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and business representatives, had a roundtable discussion of Desk Control and Unscheduled Tax Audits. The event was held on October 13 in Astana.
The speakers and the participants of the event discussed the practices of desk control and unscheduled tax audits in 2023 and recommendations for their improvement.
The State Revenue Committee’s representatives expressed their willingness to further work with business to improve legislation and practices for conducting desk control and unscheduled inspections.
EY plans to hold similar roundtable sessions with the participation of tax authorities and businesses in Almaty and Atyrau.
