When preparing for your trip, please pay special attention to the entry requirements. From 08 January 2023, passengers arriving in China no longer need to obtain a “Green Health Code” at PRC embassies, only need to get a negative PCR test within 48 hours before departure and upload the test result when completing the health questionnaire using the WeChat mobile application (“Customs Pocket Declaration”). From 17 January 2023, all passengers travelling to China will be required to provide a paper/printed PCR test result in the official language of the country of departure or in English. If the test result is issued electronically by the laboratory, it must be printed out and kept with you for verification. Detailed requirements for entry into China are available at this link.
