New Admissions To Haileybury Almaty School

We are pleased to inform about the forthcoming entrance tests for potential Reception Class pupils for the 2019-2020 academic year. 

  • Reception Class for children who turn 5 between September, 1, 2019 – August, 31, 2020.

In accordance with the British system, the school introduces children the idea of formal schooling through the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. This curriculum prioritises the Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development and Communication and Language, mathematics, natural sciences, art and design. Pupils learn to play, explore, create and think critically through active learning experiences.

  • Entrance assessment dates: February 27, 2019, April 9, 2019

Great news! Daniyar Voogdt, a pupil at Haileybury Almaty from 2008 was invited to an interview at Balliol College, Oxford to read PPE In December.

Oxford University receives more than 26,000 applications from all over the world every year and only a small percentage of applicants are invited to interview. Applicants must demonstrate the highest academic and intellectual achievements as well as leadership qualities and have experience of their holistic development through co-curricular participation.

We are delighted that Daniyar has just heard that he has been offered a place at Balliol College to read PPE. He will be joining the ranks of former British prime ministers and other world leaders who studied here!


Research into investors’ attitudes towards environmental, social and governance (ESG) information and nonfinancial reporting, as well as its role in their decision-making

The EY Climate Change and Sustainability Services team has issued it's 4th research report, whichprovides insight on how investors have come to place ever-greater importance on the role that environmental, social and governance (ESG) information and nonfinancial reporting factors play when evaluating companies in which to invest.This year’s study reveals a notable consensus on the importance of ESG or nonfinancial information in investor decision-making. Globally, investors expect more abundant and more useful reporting of material nonfinancial performance information at a consistent and high level of quality.
