Being a country focused on long-term strategies, Kazakhstan is also planning to develop new trends in financial and economic systems. Long-term measures provide for reforms in the current sensitive period we are experiencing. Economy diversification, or the establishment of new sectors like new economy clusters is one such reform. The idea to establish the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC) is an example of one of these clusters.
